Bali’s Nomad Visa Opens Opportunities for Remote Professionals

Indonesia has introduced the Nomad Visa to attract foreign professionals and revive its tourism economy. Since its launch, approximately 633 applications for the E33G visa have been approved, with around 77% of applicants choosing Bali as their base.

The visa allows multiple entries and enables holders to live and work from Indonesia for up to one year. To qualify, individuals must provide proof of employment with a company outside Indonesia and demonstrate an annual income of at least US$60,000.

For Singapore-based companies and professionals, the Nomad Visa represents an opportunity to explore cross-border remote work arrangements while complying with local regulations. Businesses must consider tax, employment, and reporting obligations for employees working abroad, even temporarily.

At NS Global Consultants Pte. Ltd., we assist companies with corporate secretarial, bookkeeping, compilation, and tax services, ensuring that cross-border arrangements are compliant and well-structured.
